Almog Phansapurker, our Project & Planning Manager, introduces Victor Glushankov, our Industrial Designer:

“Meet Victor, our official actor with the dancing moves 🕺 and soul of an artist! Victor started his incredible journey at Syqe in 2015 assembling VaporChips in the cleanroom with me, jamming to music, and messing around. It was part of his work on the production line – grinding the cannabis and loading the cartridges. He also participated in the manual assembly of the EXO – Syqe’s first inhaler which was approved for use in the clinical trial we conducted at the pain clinic at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Later, Syqe’s V&V (Verification & Validation) team was created to manage the inhaler’s production and assembly, and Victor was one of its pioneers – he was constantly on the route to the factory in the north (where the production lines are) to explain to them how to properly assemble the inhaler. And somewhere in between, he also became a master in 3D printing!

Yet Victor, the vibrant guy that he is, wanted to expand his horizons and engage himself in more fields, and so he started studying Industrial Design. At the same time, he was offered a role in Syqe’s Design team so he could learn the work first-hand. Today Victor is an integral part of the Experience & Innovation team, dealing with the inhaler’s design on the visual level (what message does it convey) and on the ergonomic level (the functionality of using the device).

As if all of this isn’t enough, Victor was recently accepted into a prestigious medical innovation program established in collaboration with Rambam, the Technion, and Stanford University 😱. He is definitely one of the brightest, funniest, friendliest people there is, with a captivating personality and endless positivity. Just don’t serve him any eggplant cause he hates their guts! (well, unless it’s in Sabich, go figure…)“
