Danny Dolgopyat, our R&D Director, introduces Raz Shraga, our Senior Engineering Manager:

“Meet Raz, our talented and highly appreciated Engineering Manager and one of my closest friends since university. I lured Raz into joining Syqe almost 4 years ago it was an instant and mutual infatuation – Raz fell in love with Syqe, and Syqe fell in love with Raz 💗 Raz began his journey in our R&D department as a Test Engineer in the V&V team. Soon after, he moved on to become an Algorithm Developer, greatly contributing to the development processes of the SyqeAir Inhaler and production line as well as of new products.

Thanks to his excellent matrix management skills, broad technical knowledge of the inhaler from the level of development to the level of production, and understanding of the process complexities and effects, two years ago Raz was promoted to his current position where he functions as a senior manager in our Engineering department. As such, Raz stands at the heart of all the critical and strategic engineering projects, integrating and synchronizing Syqe’s teams within the Engineering department and outside of it to successfully meet the company goals. And take it from me that Raz landed this central role fair and square – this proactive fella always comes up with smart and thought-out initiatives, driven by high ambition and his profound desire to watch Syqe soar to new heights.

On the risk of sounding gushing, I’ll tell you that Raz sets an example for us all. You can’t be such a prominent figure who skillfully motivates people to push forward without possessing incredible amounts of caring and sensitivity. Ask anyone at Syqe, and they will tell you that Raz is super funny and fun to work with, a true conversation man who gracefully levels with everyone. And you definitely want Raz to get to know you well since he is the champion when it comes to writing greeting cards in rhymes! His creative and frivolous mind always concocts humorous, authentic, and moving birthday/farewell anecdotes and wishes.

After so much praise, I have to roast Raz a little, right? So let me tell you that his humor is mainly constructed of dad jokes… 👴 His life-long motto is “Every day is a surprise!”… And he regularly attends sewing and ceramics classes! And to watch his figure and stay in shape (or whatever), once a week he plays ping-pong and volleyball, and he also rollerblades.“
