Roee Lifshitz, our VP of Engineering, introduces Itai Indig, our Mechanical Team Lead (Engineering):

“Meet Itai Indig – ‘The Machine Whisperer’. Itai joined Syqe’s Engineering department 8 years ago (this month!), while still a student. Immediately we recognized that Indig (Itai) is one dependable fellow, and we couldn’t wait for him to finish his degree. And indeed we came to realize that there’s no glitch, riddle or challenge this guy can’t crack!

Itai is partner in the design of many of the machines we’ve developed over the years, and among those who led the development and construction of our amazing automatic machine in the production line. Oh, and he’s practically a Yekke now after spending so much time in Germany in the process.

Itai also has a farm in the north (E-I-E-I-O) which he runs in parallel to working at Syqe. So basically, he upgraded the combine to advanced production machinery 😉 And we benefit too – When Indig arrives at the office with bags full of oranges straight from the orchard, we know winter has arrived! ☔”
