The number of Israelis dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder has almost doubled in the past year. Our data shows a 350% increase in the number of victims of hostilities being treated with medical cannabis using the SyqeAir Inhaler, 56% of whom are dealing with PTSD. Among the disabled IDF and security forces veterans who are treated with the Inhaler, this year, there was a 150% increase, and 57% of these patients are dealing with PTSD.
But what about those who have not been diagnosed yet? Those who don’t even understand that the feelings or the distress that overwhelm them are symptoms that characterize post-trauma? This is why we at Syqe® developed an online questionnaire for self-identification of early symptoms that characterize post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with a recommendation to seek professional help for those suffering from mental distress. As a company founded with the mission of relieving pain as quickly as possible for as many people as possible through advanced technologies, we identified a critical need to provide the general public with an initial identification tool to promote awareness and allow people to seek treatment as early as possible.
